The Cyprus Institute is a multi-Center research institution. In total seven, science and technology orientated Research Centers, have been scoped and plan to be established. Currently, there are three operational Research Centers:

• The Energy, Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC)
• The Science and Technology in Archaeology Research Center (STARC)
• The Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC)

The future Research Centers that will be established are:

• The Biological Sciences and Human Health Research Center (BSHHRC)
• The Economic Development Research Center (EDRC)
• The Center for Technology Management and Finance (TMFRC)
• The Center for Information, Communication and Computation (ICCRC)
