Research Centers
The research organization of the Cyprus Institute comprises cross-disciplinary Research Centers pursuing issues of scholarly relevance, global significance and regional focus.
In total seven, science and technology orientated Research Centers, have been scoped and plan to be established. These include the three active Research Centers; the Energy, Environment and Water Research Center (EEWRC), the Science and Technology in Archaeology Research Center (STARC) and the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC).
The leaders of the groups that developed the scoping reports for the Research Centers and selected the research areas that best match the vision of the Cyprus Institute were:
