The College will be organized as a single entity and will be presided over by a Provost. Distinct programs of study leading to four-year baccalaureate degrees will be established; they will be presided over by Directors. While some programs of study are expected to be of indefinite duration, all programs will be subject to periodic review and evaluation and possible re-definition.

The faculty of the College will be responsible for undergraduate and graduate education, but all students will be expected to gain substantial research experience in the various Research Centers. The majority of the faculty will be expected to have double appointments: at the College and at one of the Research Centers. The College will not be further subdivided into schools, divisions or departments.
