Cecelia Hannides

- Cecelia Hannides received her PhD in Oceanography in 2007 from the University of Hawaii, after receiving her MSc in Marine Environmental Sciences from Stony Brook University. Prior to joining the Institute, Cecelia conducted research in Cyprus as a U.S. Fulbright Fellow from 2007–2008. At the EEWRC she is involved in assessing the impact of climate change on marine ecosystems in the Eastern Mediterranean.
- Research Interests
- Ecosystem monitoring and zooplankton time-series, climate-driven changes in plankton community structure and function, and marine applications of organic geochemical and stable techniques.
