Abstract
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is an aviator and a writer. He is also a poet engineer who combined his poetic imagination and engineer training to improve aircraft take-off, flight and landing conditions at night and in heavy weather and to meet the ecological and climatic challenges that already characterized his time, 70 years ago.

About the Speaker
Writer, Historian, Journalist, and High Civil Servant, Jean-Pierre Guéno led the cultural development of the French Bibliothèque Nationale for 7 years alongside Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie and then  Radio France Publishing for 12 years. He was also deputy director of communication for La Poste. He was Director of Culture of the Museums of Letters and Manuscripts of Paris and Brussels.

The author of "Paroles de poilus", "Paroles de Verdun", "Visages de Saint-Exupéry", "Paroles d'exode" and "In the Skin of the Unknown Soldier" published some seventy books . This former student of the Ecole Normale Superieure de Saint-Cloud and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Postes et Télécommunications, reminds us that history is not only written by the heads of posters of our class books but also and above all by these simple and ordinary people who were our ancestors.

He likes to define himself as a "memory transmitter." Different versions of “Paroles de Poilus”  found 3 million readers.
