Join us for an open discussion of Cypriot Cultural Heritage in its Mediterranean Context! The event is hosted by the Science and Technology in Archaeology Research Center (STARC) of The Cyprus Institute and is part of the 2017 ‘Researcher’s Night’ events organized by the Research Promotion Foundation (RPF).

The open discussion will cover subjects such as the international cooperation for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage, the Cypriot antiquities abroad, Europa Nostra and the architectural heritage of Cyprus, food production and health and the documentation, visualisation and interpretation of the artistic and architectural heritage of Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Researcher’s Night 2017 is organised under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus.

Συμμετέχετε στην ανοικτή συζήτηση για την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά της Κύπρου στο ευρύτερο πλαίσιο της Μεσογείου! Η εκδήλωση, την οποία επιμελείται το Ερευνητικό Κέντρο Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας στην Αρχαιολογία (EKETA) του Ινστιτούτου Κύπρου (ΙΚυ) εντάσσεται στη «Βραδιά του Ερευνητή» που οργανώνει το Ίδρυμα Προώθησης Έρευνας (ΙΠΕ).

Η συζήτηση θα καλύψει θέματα όπως οι διεθνείς συνεργασίες στο τομέα της προστασίας και ανάδειξης της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς, οι κυπριακές αρχαιότητες που βρίσκονται στο εξωτερικό, η Europa Nostra και η αρχιτεκτονική κληρονομιά της Κύπρου, η παραγωγή και κατανάλωση τροφής στην Κύπρο κατά την αρχαιότητα και η αποτύπωση και ανάδειξή της καλλιτεχνικής και αρχιτεκτονικής κληρονομιάς της Κύπρου και της ανατολικής Μεσογείου.

H Βραδιά του Ερευνητή 2017 τελεί υπό την αιγίδα της Α.Ε. του Προέδρου της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας κ. Νίκου Αναστασιάδη.
