Visit to The Cyprus Institute by the Environment Commissioner, Dr Maria Panayiotou

On Tuesday, 23rd of May 2023, the Environment Commissioner, Dr Maria Panayiotou visited The Cyprus Institute's premises in order to get to know more about the mission, the tangible results and achievements of Institute's researchers.

Hosting the meeting was CyI President, Prof. Stavros Malas, in the presence of CyI Vice President of Operations, Dr Michalis Yiangou, CyI Assistant Vice President of Policy and Internal Communications Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous, and CyI Assistant Vice President of Strategy and Development, Dr. Konstantinos Kleovoulou. The profile and the mission of the Institute, and an overview of its activities were presented to the Environment Commissioner. 

The Commissioner stressed that she is committed to continuing the excellent cooperation between the two sides, and said she is delighted with the level of research carried out at the Institute.
