Andri Charalambous

Andri Charalambous

Andri Charalambous serves as Technological Services and Support Coordinator at the Technological Services and Support Unit of the Division of Research and Technological Support at The Cyprus Institute as of February 2026. Since joining the Institute in December 2019, she has held key roles supporting research and innovation activities, such as Centre Research Management and Administration Coordinator, where she oversaw EU, National and International funded projects, coordinated reporting and communication with funding authorities, and contributed to proposal development.

With 14 years of experience in research support, she has extensive expertise in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring compliance with EU and national funding regulations, and facilitating collaboration across institutional, national, and international partners. She has a proven track record in supporting operational and managerial functions, as well as overseeing budgets and financial performance.

In her current role, she manages team operations and performance, leads technological services and support initiatives, and ensures the harmonised, compliant, and optimal operation of the Institute’s research infrastructures and labs. She oversees policies and costing practices for internal and external service provision, negotiates and concludes service agreements with external partners, and acts as a liaison between clients and the Institute’s technical and business development teams. Additionally, she supports and leads fundraising efforts for research infrastructure development, contributes to the integration of facilities within European Research Infrastructure Networks (including ESFRI-related initiatives), promotes cross-centre collaborations, ensures alignment with institutional regulations, and coordinates the administration of externally funded projects, while providing strategic guidance on complex funding matters and fostering effective collaboration between the Technological Services and Support Unit, RIMS, and the Innovation Directorate.

She holds an MBA and a BSc in Business Administration with specialisation in Accounting and Finance.
