The Cyprus Institute Graduate School offers three accredited Doctoral Programs.

Completion of 180 ECTS, 50 of which must derive from coursework and 130 from research |
Successful completion of the Candidacy Examination |
Successful completion of the PhD Defense Examination |
Completion of publication requirements established by the Graduate School |
English is the language of instruction and communication for all programs offered.
All of our Doctoral programs are accredited by the Council of Educational Evaluation-Accreditation (CEEA/SEKAP) and adhere to the Bologna Process third cycle degrees.
The Institute uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The programs are 180 ECTS (3 years).
The programs are connected to the research activities of the Institute and they may be integrated with the respective Master’s program offered by the Institute.

The regular application deadline for Fall 2021 admission is April 1, 2021 (open for EU and International Students). Students who apply early will be given priority consideration for our scholarships. The late application deadline is July 3, 2021 (open for EU and international students who do not require a visa).
