Fotis Manelidis received a BSc Degree in Automotive Engineering in 2020 from the Frederick University in Cyprus. He has also completed 6 Training courses for Motorsport Engineering from 2018 to 2019 and 1 Certificate of compilation in Motorsport/Aerospace Wiring in 2019.

In July 2021, Fotis Manelidis joined CYI as Mechanical Engineer for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in the CARE-C Centre in order to contribute in the Design, Manufacturing, Integration and Mounting Systems of the UAV’s.

To participate in scheduled Test Flights for the purpose of the development, optimization of the imaging systems, in field deployment (including research campaigns) and demonstrations of UAVs in Cyprus and abroad.

Fotis Manelidis is also responsible for running the CNC Machines and 3D Printers of USRL supporting the Composite Laboratory.
