Zuhir Bona is a PhD student and Graduate Research Fellow in the CARE-C Centre of Excellence at The Cyprus Institute, working within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie-funded DUST-DN project. He holds a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics (2025) and a Bachelor's degree in Physics (2021), both from the Faculty of Science at Mansoura University, Egypt.
His research focuses on global dust distribution and cloud–dust interactions, with particular interest in leveraging remote sensing and atmospheric modelling techniques to better understand the role of mineral dust in the Earth system.
