Diego has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Universidad de Cuenca del Ecuador (2014) and an MSc degree in Natural Resources from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2017). His graduate research focused on the improvement of stochastic modelling of daily precipitation and temperatures over Chile.
Following completion of his graduate degrees, Diego took on a Research Assistant position at Universidad de Cuenca del Departamento de Recursos Hídricos y Ciencias Ambientales, where he focused his research on the hydrometeorology (until 2020).
Diego joined The Cyprus Institute in October of 2021 as a Master’s student in the Environmental Sciences program.
