Panayiota Antoniou is an Electrical/Electronic Engineer for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) at the Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory (USRL) of the CyI, which operates under the CARE-C center. Panayiota works on the development and integration of the UAS avionic systems, the composition of prototype data acquisition systems for the airborne atmospheric sensors and the assembly of prototype electronic circuits for mission-specific applications. In addition, she participates in both national and international CARE-C research campaigns, undertaking the responsibility of overseeing and ensuring robust sensor operation in the UAVs, as well as data collection and Ground Control Station (GCS) operation.
Panayiota holds a BSc and an MSc in Pure Mathematics, a BSc in Electrical Engineering and she is currently pursuing an MSc in Electrical Engineering, all at the University of Cyprus.
