Kathy is currently a scientific coordinator at the Cyprus Institute, working in the SimEA project. She completed her undergraduate, honours, and masters degrees in chemistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. Thereafter, she moved to the United Kingdom where she was awarded her PhD at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Prof David Spring. Her PhD was focused on organic synthesis within the field of medicinal chemistry.
