Mitisha Jain

Mitisha Jain is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Electron-phonon Calculations of Functional Materials for the funded project EPICAL at CaSToRC of the Cyprus Institute. Her research focuses on the development of machine-learned interatomic potentials for the computational modeling of anharmonic materials, enabling accurate simulations of complex material behavior at the atomic scale. She earned her PhD in Physics with a thesis entitled Response of 2D Materials to Ion and Electron Irradiation in the Presence of Substrates or Adatoms. She also holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
