Wenping Lyu received a B.S. degree in physics from Southwest University (2008), and finished a M.S. program in computational biophysics at Dalian University of Technology (2011). Then, he joined Chinese Academy of Sciences--Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP) as a research assistant. Since the summer of 2014, he has been serving as an assistant researcher at DICP. His research interests include molecular modeling and dynamics simulations, high-performance computations, and machine learning. The aim of his researches is the understanding of the physico-chemical basis governing the bio-behaviors of water, DNA, Proteins, and their complexes at biotic/abiotic interfaces
Wenping Lyu has been selected for the position of ESR 6 with joint degree awarding Institutions the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH) and the The Cyprus Institute (CyI). The project entitled "Protein-DNA interactions" is supervised by Prof. Paolo Carloni and Prof. George Christophides.
