Abstract

The workshop will demonstrate how to use open-source GIS software, QGIS, for mapping archaeological datasets. Using geochemical data with geographical coordinates as an example, it will guide participants through the process from a raw data list to a completed map. The presentation will focus on freely available QGIS tools and show how they can be applied to visualize and analyze different types of archaeological data.
