Difficulty in sending your paperwork on time

We are aware that due to the unprecedented nature of current affairs, that all our applicants will have faced disruption this year. We do not want to place an additional burden on applicants, or their universities when they are already facing disruption. Therefore, we will try to be flexible, wherever possible, on a case by case basis, with any reasonable delays caused by the situation.

Verifying your Qualifications

If you have been made an offer of admission, you may have been asked to supply evidence of qualifications by providing the original, physical documents to the Office of Graduate Studies during your registration process.

However, we are aware that a number of business services, including postal services are currently disrupted or delayed. Additionally, The Cyprus Institute’s Admissions service is currently operating remotely.

For the time being, Admissions will permit applicants to verify their qualifications in the following ways. Please note that we strongly advise against posting your original documents.

These measures are being implemented to support applicants with their admission process, but the Institute reserves the right to amend this information and to ensure that original academic credentials are verified at appropriate stages.

Verifying English Proficiency Documents

If you have been asked to demonstrate your English language proficiency, we may be able to verify your test results online if you have taken an IELTS or TOEFL test.

For IELTS, you can provide your Test Report Form Number or a scanned copy of your certificate to the Admissions team.
For TOEFL, you can send your 16-digit registration number or a scanned copy of your certificate.

Verifying Degree Documents

If you cannot secure official transcripts, the university will need to send us official transcripts directly via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
