Cyprus Institute Researchers Rank Among World’s Most-Cited Scientists for the year 2024 Featured

The Cyprus Institute (CyI) is proud to announce that thirteen of its researchers and affiliated faculty have been included in the 2025 edition of the prestigious "Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators." Based on Scopus data, compiled by Stanford University and published by Elsevier, the list identifies the top 2% of most-cited scientists worldwide.
 
The August 2025 database provides a snapshot of scientific impact in the 2024 calendar year. The strong presence of CyI researchers on the Single Year Impact 2024 list highlights the exceptional recent contributions and immediate relevance of their work.

This inclusion in the influential Scopus-based database confirms that their publications serve as major reference points for scientists worldwide.
