The Ambassador of Sweden in Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Martin Hagström, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises in Athalassa on Tuesday, 7th of March 2023, to reinforce existing collaboration between the Institute and the Embassy of Sweden and to explore new areas of common interest with other Swedish research organisations and Universities.

Hosting the meeting was CyI President Prof. Stavros Malas, in the presence of Assistant Vice President of International Relations, Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous. The Ambassador was given a brief overview of The Cyprus institute’s research and educational activities, and given a guided tour of the Andreas Pittas Art Characterisation Laboratory (APAC Labs).
