On Tuesday, 18th of January 2022, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Mrs Anke Schlimm, and Mrs Makrina Amanatidou, Office for Protocol and Cultural Matters, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises to discuss the possibility of cooperation in areas with common interest.

Hosting the meeting was CyI’s President, Prof. Costas Papanicolas, in the presence of CyI’s Assistant Vice President for Institute Affairs, Dr Nicolas Jarraud. Followed by the welcome words by Prof. Papanicolas, and an introductory statement by the Ambassador, the delegation was given a short briefing on the Institute’s research and educational activities. 

Finally, the Ambassador expressed her thanks for the opportunity to visit, and congratulated the Administration of the Institute for their research achievements.
