Patrikios Tymvios

Patrikios completed his studies at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Department of Civil Engineering, with a major in Structural Engineering and Design. He also holds a MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Nicosia. He is a member of the Cyprus Technical Chamber for Engineers since 2005. From the beginning of 2007 up to the end of 2008 he was the site manager of the ITTL Trade Tourist & Leisure Park - Plot 2, a project of a total leasable area of 8.500sq.m. and an estimated construction cost of €15.000.000. During the period 2004-2008, he worked as a site engineer for several large construction projects, mainly multi-purpose building complexes and he was also the Health and Safety Officer of these projects.

He has been an employee at the Institute since November 2008 as a Facilities and Physical Infrastructure Engineer. During his employment, he was involved in all major facilities development projects of the CyI.

Since 2012, he is holding the position of the Chair of the Procurement Committee and took over the responsibilities of the Institute’s Procurement Office. On February 2018 he was appointed as Head of the Procurement, Assets and Contracts Office. During these years he developed the CyI Procurement Policy, internal procedures, draft evaluation reports and forms which are currently used by all CyI staff members.
