Course Purpose and Objectives

The course aims to familiarize the students with the synoptic-scale weather systems and their evolution.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course students should be familiar with and be able to identify synoptic-scale weather systems, their evolution and movement and the links between surface and upper-air patterns.
