The A.G. Leventis Master’s Scholarship was established at The Cyprus Institute in 2023 through a donation by A. G. Leventis Foundation, which is a generous supporter of The Cyprus Institute. This scholarship enables one exceptional student from a low- to medium-income country (with a strong preference for students from West Africa) each year to undertake an MSc program at the Cyprus Institute.
The scholarship provides funding of €15,000, covering an annual stipend (€13,200), cost for flights and visas (€1,600), and health insurance (€200). The tuition fees will be covered by a scholarship provided by The Cyprus Institute. The scholarship is tenable for the duration of the degree programme.
The scholarship is open to applicants from mid- and low-income countries, with a strong preference for students from West Africa. Applicants must have been offered a place on one of The Cyprus Institute’s Master’s programs commencing in the 2023-2024 academic year. Students already on the programme are not eligible to apply.
