Krystallia studied economics at the University of Athens, with postgraduate studies at Un. Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg) & International Space University (Toronto).

As Communications Officer, she worked on the European Commission's SIMAP, CORDIS, BC-NET & BRE projects on behalf of Intrasoft International (Brussels and Luxembourg). She was responsible for the communication strategy and its implementation of major projects such as ODYSSEIA- the ICT integration in the learning process at primary and secondary education(CTI), the GRNET activities and Wikipedia in Greece. She actively participated in the Citizens' Initiative "TELEIA & PAVLA" ​​(anti-corruption) and the Action "Card of Evidence" (Ministry of Finance). She was the communications officer in the CLARITY project (Ministry of Interior, Greece) working horizontally with the public sector in Greece.

Since 2016, she has been working with human systems at AKMA (Athenian Institute of Anthropos) and has been responsible for the social networks and content of the AKMA website and the EFT Greek Network and the Erasmus KA2 project Changing Youth Stories.

She is researcher at The Cyprus Institute and since January 1, 2018, she acts as Communication Responsible for the ERMIS-Floods project (Interreg V-A  Greece Cyprus 2014-2020) www.ermis-f.eu. By February 2021 she is responsible for the ANTIbodies to MisInformation Project (AntiMisInfo).
