Constantinos Taliotis is an Associate Research Scientist in the Energy Planning and Analysis group at the Cyprus Institute, which he joined in 2018. Prior to this, he was employed at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden.

He is an energy systems modeller with more than 12 years of experience in the field. His current work mainly involves close collaboration with national authorities to provide modelling insights that inform long-term energy and climate planning in Cyprus.

He has worked on numerous projects with international organizations, such as the World Bank, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and the International Renewable Energy Agency. Constantinos holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Systems and an MSc in Sustainable Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden, and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental and Resource Sciences from Trent University in Peterborough, Canada.
