Andreas joined the Cyprus Institute in April 2025 employed as research technical assistance in APAC labs at STARC facility at The Cyprus Institute. He is highly proficient in constructing experimental setups for optical microscopy and spectroscopy techniques, demonstrating a strong ability in both data acquisition and analysis. His expertise extends to advanced optical experimental techniques.
Prior to taking up his current position, he worked as a researcher on several European projects, including “NANOSONICS,” “HoloCIM,” and “TwistedNano,” within both the Departments of Physics and Chemistry. He holds a Master’s degree (2019) and a Bachelor’s degree (2017) in Physics from the University of Cyprus.
Research interests: Advanced non – invasive experimental techniques, new light harvesting and Emitting technologies, Quantum nanomaterials.
