His main fields of expertise include the characterization of aerosol physicochemical properties and their effects on climate, the characterization of the performance and the development of instrumentation for probing these properties.
As a researcher he had participated in more than 9 national/international projects related to the characterization of the physicochemical properties of atmospheric/indoor aerosols and their climate/health effects, while he has more than 23 publications in peer to peer review journals.
Currently he is employed as an Associate Research Scientist in the Instrumentation Lab and Nano-Lab facilities (INL) of the Climate & Atmospheric Research Center (CARE-C) of the Cyprus Institute (CyI).
