Konstantinos (Kostas) Christodoulou is currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Climate and Atmosphere Research Center (CARE-C) of the Cyprus Institute, focusing on Atmospheric Sciences. Prior to this role, Kostas was involved with the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) where he contributed to three projects within Environmental Studies. This included research on marine/maritime studies examining sea current velocities in the Eastern Mediterranean, and a project focused on the analysis of lidar data to study atmospheric particles over Limassol, Cyprus.

For his Ph.D., Kostas used high-order finite element methods to effectively solve acoustical wave problems described by the Helmholtz Equation. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc in Applied Mathematical Sciences.

Kostas is actively involved in the analysis of environmental data, using diverse sources to uncover important findings. He has a strong interest in the application and investigation of numerical models for atmospheric research, which is a key aspect of his work as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow.
