On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Dr Giorgos Karoullas, Member of the Cyprus Parliament, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises in Athalassa.

Hosting the meeting was CyI President, Prof. Costas N. Papanicolas in the presence of CyI Vice-President of Operations, Dr Michalis Yiangou, CyI Assistant Vice President of Policy and Internal Communications, Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous, and CyI Head of the Office of Graduate Studies, Dr Chrysanthia Leontiou.

Following a brief presentation on the Institute’s research and educational activities by Dr Michalis Yiangou, Dr Karoullas was given a guided tour of CyI campus and Institute’s laboratories, including USRL and Fresnel.

Finally, Dr Karoullas expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit, and congratulated the administration and the scientists of the Institute for their exceptional work and research achievements.
