Victor Grigoriev received a PhD degree in optics from Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (Erlangen, Germany) in 2012. The PhD project was focused on the development of new photonic devices for integrated optics. In 2012, he took a postdoctoral fellowship at Fresnel Institute (Marseille, France). The research project was dedicated to the design of optical nanoantennas and metamaterials for sensing applications. In 2014, he took a postdoctoral fellowship at CSIRO Energy Centre (Newcastle, Australia). The research project was dedicated to the design of heliostat fields for concentrated solar thermal power plants. In 2018, he joined the Energy, Environment and Water Research Center of the Cyprus Institute as Assistant Professor.
