Anna joined the Cyprus Institute as an intern in human osteoarchaeology in July 2018 after receiving degrees in Prehistoric Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2018), Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology at the University of Sheffield, UK (2014) and History and Archaeology at the University of Ioannina, Greece (2010). During her Bachelors and Masters studies she gained practical field and laboratory experience in excavations and the study of human remains. She has participated in a number of excavations throughout Greece, Albania and in Jordan and has worked as a contract archaeologist for the Greek Ministry of Culture.
