    This lecture provides an overview of the importance of a business plan in entrepreneurial ventures, emphasizing its role in guiding strategic decisions. Participants will understand the key components and objectives of a business plan using the business model canvas (BMC) framework.
  • Marketing Strategies and Sustainability Practices for Entrepreneurs
    From analysing consumer preferences to managing brand identity, you will gain insights into how businesses can create meaningful connections with their audience while driving positive social change. Dive deep into topics such as social enterprises, life cycle assessment, circular economy principles, and sustainable collaboration, and discover innovative strategies for building brands that thrive in today's socially conscious marketplace.
  • A Primer to Entrepreneurial Financing
    • Overview of Funding Sources: Understand the variety of financing options available to startups, such as angel investment, venture capital, crowdfunding, and government grants.

Mentoring

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in class discussions and receive feedback. They can also consult the instructors outside the course hours on any topic related to the course, such as creating a new start-up, developing their skills, or overcoming their communication challenges. If they have a specific idea to pursue, the instructors will guide them accordingly. The instructors will adopt a personalized approach for each student, recognizing their individual needs. Additionally, the participants can also register to participate in the Innovation Bootcamp taking place in person on the 17th, 18th and 21st of June.
