Alice is a short term Early Stage Research Fellow at STARC in the framework of the Horizon 2020 MSCA-ITN "Training the next generation of archaeological scientists: Interdisciplinary studies of pre-modern Plasters and Ceramics from the eastern Mediterranean". While at The Cyprus Institute, Alice will be conducting analyses on fifth century BCE painted wall plasters and pigments from Naxos in Sicily, as part of a collaborative project with the Finnish Institute at Athens and the Archaeological Park of Naxos and Taormina. She is currently completing her PhD in History of Art and Archaeology at Cornell University (USA).
In addition to her doctoral research, Alice is active on a number of field projects across Greece and Italy as the specialist in pigments and painted architecture.
